Freshman Residents

Meal Plans are not valid after 11:45pm. Weekly allowances on the Flex plans do not carry over to the following week and are not refunded at any time. The meal component of the plans are only valid at The Garden, UTK, and SHO Kitchen and carry a maximum value of $20.00. At UTK and SHO Kitchen, there is a four meal maximum per meal period and meals are valid for grill items only.

Flex plans are not active during Thanksgiving, Spring or Winter Breaks.

Meal plans not valid for merchandise, gift cards, alcohol or gratuity.

Meal Swipes + Weekly Debit Dollars

10 meal swipes per academic year (valued up to $20 each) accepted at The Garden Restaurant, UTK, and SHO Kitchen.
$169.85 per week in weekly debit dollars (deposited Monday, expire Friday). Unused weekly balances do not rollover from week to week

10 meal swipes per academic year (valued up to $20 each) accepted at The Garden Restaurant, UTK, and SHO Kitchen.
$195.26 per week in weekly debit dollars (deposited Monday, expire Sunday). Unused weekly balances do not rollover from week to week

MEALS PLUS

Meals + Rollover Debit Dollars

3 meal swipes per week (102 meals per academic year, valued up to $20 each) accepted at The Garden Restaurant, UTK, and SHO Kitchen.
$159.03 per week in debit dollars.
Unused debit dollars and meal balances roll over week to week.
