SDSU DINING REFUND / RETURN POLICY

This policy applies only to the following SDSU Dining in-house venues:

  • The Garden Restaurant
  • University Towers Kitchen (UTK)
  • Salad Bistro
  • Vinnie’s Pizza & Pasta Bar
  • So-Cal Chicken
  • Faculty-Staff Club
  • The Grill at Aztec Shops Terrace

For guest service concerns related to our third-party partners, please contact those venues directly.

As part of our goal to offer superior guest satisfaction, we provide the refund and return solutions outlined below. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding the refund and return policy by emailing sdsudining@sdsu.edu. For immediate response to concerns related to your specific order, please visit the venue in question to explain the situation to our staff and request a refund or return. You may also call the venue directly.

Cancellations

Preparation of your order begins immediately after your order has been confirmed. We are unable to cancel or refund an order if you change your mind or submit an order by mistake.

Errors

If you receive food that is different from your receipt, we sincerely apologize. Please visit us as soon as you notice that there is an error in your order so that our staff may address your concern. You will be able to return your order for your correct menu item(s) or pick up your missing menu item(s). You may also decide to cancel any missing menu item(s) before we prepare them, and we will refund the amount of the missing items to your credit card / meal plan. No cash refunds.

For exchanges, please return the food order in the original container(s) to our staff. If 25 percent or more of the food has been consumed or removed, we are unable to issue any refund. If the food has been discarded, repackaged, or tampered with, we are unable to issue any refund.

Satisfation

Miguel Mejia is the Faculty-Staff Club Sous Chef. A 26-year food industry veteran, Miguel previously worked as a chef at the San Diego Country Club before arriving at Aztec Shops.

We take great care and pride in all the menu items we prepare. Refunds and returns are typically intended for orders in which menu items are incorrect or omitted. Refunds are not typically provided for food that a guest simply does not enjoy. We do, however, appreciate your feedback and encourage you to speak to our staff if your dining experience simply does not meet your expectations. We have the flexibility to issue refunds on a case-by-case basis in these instances.

Complimentary Food

We are unable to provide complimentary food in lieu of a refund.
