You can pick up a Temporary Meal Card from the SDSU Dining Services Office. We will give up to 3 temporary cards per semester.

I’m sick and cannot go out to use my meal plan.  What can I do?

You will need to ask a roommate or a friend to take your Red ID card to the front desk of your hall and ask for a Sick Meal Pass.  The desk assistant will fill out the top portion of the form.  Your friend will then take your Red ID card and the form to either the Dining Room or UT Grill & Market.  Your friend will pick out your food and beverage, the cashier will ring up the purchase using your Red ID and collecting the form.

My Meal Plan is on hold. What should I do?

Most likely you have received an e-mail regarding your SDSU eBill. If you are delinquent in making your Housing/Meal Plan payment, your meal plan may be suspended. Instructions for making this payment are in the e-mail you received. If you have any questions regarding this process contact the Housing Office or the SDSU Cashiers Office.

If you have made your payment you may go to the SDSU Cashiers Office and request a receipt which you will then bring to the SDSU Dining Services Office. Your Meal Plan will be activated immediately.

During the time your Meal Plan is on hold, you may pay for your meals at any locations that except Meal Plans and ask for a receipt. After your meal plan is released from hold, bring your receipts to the Dining Services Office where you will be reimbursed up to your Meal Plan allowance.
